Beef Stroganoff


Prep Time: 15    Cooking Time: 25    Serves: 3-4
  1. 750g rump steak, sliced thinly
  2. flour, seasoned with a little salt and pepper
  3. 2 tbsp butter
  4. 2 onions, sliced
  5. 2 cups mushrooms
  6. 1 sachet Gravox Supreme Roast Meat
  7. 1 1/2 cups water
  8. 2 tbsp sour cream
  9. 1 tbsp Fountain Tomato Sauce Squeezy
  10. pinch nutmeg



  1. Toss steak in seasoned flour.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, add half the steak and cook until golden brown. Remove from pan and cook remaining half.
  3. Add more butter if necessary and fry onions and mushrooms for 1 minute, remove from heat.
  4. Add gravy mix and water. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Return meat to pan.
  5. Add sour cream, Fountain Tomato Sauce and nutmeg. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
