A Julie Recipe-Prawns In Fennel And Tomato Butter


Prep Time: 5    Cooking Time: 5    Serves: 4 as a starter
  1. 25g butter
  2. 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  3. 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  4. 500g green prawns, shelled
  5. 1/4 cup Fountain Tomato Sauce Squeezy
  6. Salt and pepper, to taste
  7. Fresh dill, to garnish
  8. Lemon wedges, to serve



  1. Melt butter in a large non-stick frying pan over low heat and sauté garlic and fennel seeds for about 2 minutes or until garlic is soft and seeds are fragrant. Be careful not to colour the garlic.
  2. Turn up the heat a little and add prawns and Fountain Tomato Sauce and toss well. Continue cooking and tossing for about 2 minutes or until prawns are just cooked. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with dill. Serve with lemon wedges.
  3. Tips: Serve as a tapas plate, or with crusty baguette and salad for an entrée.
